Project Name: Beacon Mishawaka Outpatient Center - Donor Wall

Goal: To Honor a Family Legacy Through Creative Printing and Fabrication

Result/Solution: Designed by Creative Design Solutions, the new 25,000-square-foot, two-story Beacon Mishawaka Outpatient Center provides patients with convenient access to advanced imaging, physical therapy, primary care, and specialty medicine, including OB-GYN and non-invasive cardiology. This building is located where previously stood Valley Bank & Trust Co., which opened in March 1968. The president of Valley Bank for three decades, Denny Schwartz, was also a former Memorial Health System and Memorial Hospital Foundation board member. To honor Denny Schwartz’s legacy and support to the community, Beacon partnered with Sarah Mitchell, of Creative Design Solutions, and Olee Creative to create a unique donor wall in his memory. By incorporating actual parts from the original Valley Bank safe the installation ties the new facility to the site’s history and reflects Schwartz’s lasting impact on the community.
