Project Name: Beacon Children's NICU Magnetic Wall Graphics

Goal: To create a changeable art display where families of NICU patients can create messages of hope.

Solution: The Olee Team worked with Beacon Children’s Hospital Art Therapist Sarah Tyler to develop changeable magnetic wall graphics on a column that allows families of NICU patients to get away from the stress of the NICU for a few moments and create a message of hope that is displayed in the family lounge. The Olee Magnetic Graphics System was utilized, and the Olee team designed and printed a giant dandelion wall covering that was then applied to the column. Various sized blank white magnetic circles were supplied that the families use to create their messages. The magnetic receptive circles adhere to the magnetized column and can easily be changed and moved around. The art display is cheerful and provides a space for creative, unique, and meaningful artwork created by the patient’s families which offers a message of hope and allows for a moment of distraction from the stress of the NICU.
