Goal: To create a changeable art display system for pediatric patients utilizing common paper and art supplies.

Solution: The Olee Team worked with Beacon Children’s Hospital Art Therapist Sarah Tyler to develop an innovative way to display art for the Children’s Hemotology/Oncology Unit. Sarah wanted a way to display the young patient’s artwork that would be changeable and cheerful. She had worked on other projects with Olee Creative utilizing the magnetic wall graphics system, but for this project, she wanted to be able to display regular paper drawings easily, instead of utilizing the magnetic system’s special paper.

The Olee team came up with the idea of creating colorful magnetic frames that would secure the paper drawings to the magnetized wall—which is anchored by the Olee InvisiLock Magnet System and a chalkboard overlay film. The Olee production team color matched the frames to the wall color of the vibrant hospital corridors. Three different sized frames were developed in order to display a wide variety of patient artwork. The chalkboard film base provides the perfect background to anchor the colorful magentic wall graphics, and also allows Sarah to add her own creative touches and seasonal messages.
