Project Name: Beacon Children's Playroom Magnetic Wall Covering

Goal: To create an interactive art wall to occupy children while waiting to see their physician.

Solution: The Olee Team worked with Interior Designer Holly Foley to develop two different changable magnetic art walls with a variety of colorful magnetic “stickies” that the kids can move around on the wall. The Olee team designed and printed a giant background wall covering that was installed as part of the magnetic graphic system. An iron-ore primer is first applied to the wall which can then be painted with latex paint to match the adjacent walls. A two-sided magnet is applied, and the printed back mural is applied over the magnet. Various sized “stickies” are then overlaid by the kids, creating a dynamic, ever-changing life-sized play wall. The only issue with this installation is getting the kids to stop playing when it is time to see the doc!
